Live Scoring
Master the three scoring views, enter scores, use GPS maps, and score offline.
Scoring Views
The live scoring page offers three different view modes that you can switch between using the tabs at the top:
Card View (default) — Shows one group's scorecard at a time with detailed hole-by-hole entry. Best for entering your own group's scores.
Table View — A spreadsheet-style view showing all players side by side. Great for a quick overview of everyone's progress.
Classic View — Groups are shown in a compact summary format. Useful for admins monitoring all groups at once.
Entering Scores
Tap on a hole to open the score entry form. The required field is strokes (your total shot count for the hole). Optional fields include putts, fairway hit, green in regulation (GIR), penalties, and notes.
Scores are synced in real-time via SignalR, so other players and spectators see updates instantly on the leaderboard.
Tips
- •You only need to enter strokes — all other fields are optional and used for statistics.
- •Net scores are calculated automatically using your handicap and the event's allowance percentage.
GPS Hole Maps
When available, each hole displays a satellite map showing the hole layout and pin location. You can see your current GPS position on the map.
Tap anywhere on the map to measure the distance from that point to the pin. Use fullscreen mode for easier pin placement and distance measurement.
Offline Scoring
If you lose internet connection during a round, don't worry — scores are automatically saved to your device locally. An offline banner appears at the top of the screen to let you know.
When your connection is restored, all queued scores are automatically synced to the server. No manual action is needed.
Tips
- •Install the PWA for the best offline experience. Browser tabs may clear local data if memory is low.
The Leaderboard
The leaderboard updates in real-time as scores are entered. It shows each player's gross score, net score, and position relative to par.
Net score formula: Gross − round(Handicap Index × Slope / 113) × (Allowance% / 100).
Score Validation
After a round, the Scorer page lets designated scorers review and certify scores. The event scorer can verify each group's scores before the event is marked complete.
