About POGI

POGI League aims to promote the game of golf among its members by sharing tee times and playing together as often as possible through organized weekly games, golf outings and competitions. Based mostly in central New Jersey, members of POGI are committed to furthering the organization's goals through various efforts including:

• Jointly calling for tee times thereby giving its membership various opportunities to play weekly or as often as possible.
• Learning and applying the rules of golf as laid down by the USGA.
• Establishing an official GHIN Handicap index.
• Organizing various golf competitions to determine the league's top golfers.
• Organizing annual non-golfing activities to strengthen the bond among its members and their immediate families.

Membership is open to all golfing individuals regardless of race, religion, level of play (golf) or place of residence. An annual membership fee is required to gain acceptance to the organization and to enjoy all the benefits of membership.
