Events & Tournaments
Learn about event lifecycle, signups, tee times, guest players, and event chat.
Event Lifecycle
Events progress through several statuses: Draft (being configured by admins), Published (open for player signups), In Progress (live scoring is active), Completed (scores are finalized), and Cancelled.
Once an event is published, eligible members can sign up. The admin moves the event to "In Progress" when it's time to start scoring.
Signing Up
League admins manage event signups. Admins can add members individually from the event detail page, or use "Sign Up All" to register all league members at once.
After being signed up, you can view your assignment on the event detail page.
Tee Times & Groups
Admins assign players to tee time groups before the event. Each group has a designated start time and starting hole.
You can view your assigned group and tee time on the event detail page once groups have been published.
Tips
- •Tee time groups determine which players score together during live scoring.
Guest Players
Guest players can be added inline during event signup. Enter the guest's name, email, and handicap index. The guest will appear in the event roster and can participate in scoring and side games.
Admins can also manage guest players from the Guests page in the league navigation.
Event Chat
Each event has a real-time chat channel available on the event detail page and during live scoring. All league members can read and send messages — access isn't restricted to event participants.
Messages are saved to the server, so you can scroll back to see earlier conversations. Authors can delete their own messages, and admins can delete any message.
Media & Photos
During live scoring, tap the camera icon to upload photos or videos from the round. Media is attached to the event and viewable in the league's Gallery page.
You can tag photos and browse them in a lightbox viewer. Maximum upload size is 52 MB per file.
Live Spectator Mode
Admins can generate a shareable Spectator Link for any active or completed event. Anyone with the link can view the live leaderboard in real-time without needing to log in.
The spectator page shows the event name, course, date, and a live leaderboard that auto-refreshes every 30 seconds. Share the link with family and friends so they can follow along.
Tips
- •Spectator links can be regenerated or revoked at any time from the event detail page.
Deleting Events
Admins can delete a scheduled event from the event detail page using the three-dot admin menu. Only events in "Scheduled" status with no posted scores can be deleted.
Deleting an event removes all associated tee times, signups, side games, and chat messages. This action cannot be undone.
