Overview

POGI.CLUB ("we", "our", "the app") is a golf league management platform. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you register.
  • Golf Data: Scores, handicap indexes, league memberships, event participation, and side game results.
  • GHIN Integration: If you link your GHIN account, we access your handicap index and scoring history from the GHIN network.
  • Media: Photos and videos you upload to event galleries.
  • Chat Messages: Messages you send in event chat and discussion boards.
  • Location Data: GPS coordinates when you use the GPS hole map feature (only while the app is in use, and only if you grant permission).
  • Device Information: Push notification tokens for delivering score alerts and event reminders.
  • Biometric Data: Face ID / Touch ID authentication is processed entirely on your device. We never receive or store your biometric data.
  • Voice Data: When using voice scoring, speech is processed by Apple's on-device speech recognition. Audio is not sent to our servers.

How We Use Your Information

  • Provide live scoring, leaderboards, and league management features.
  • Calculate handicaps and standings.
  • Send push notifications for score updates, event reminders, and chat messages.
  • Display your profile and scores to other league members.
  • Improve the app and fix bugs.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your data is shared only with:

  • Other league members: Your name, scores, and handicap are visible to members of leagues you join.
  • GHIN: If you enable GHIN posting, your scores are submitted to the GHIN network.
  • Service providers: We use Azure (Microsoft) for hosting and data storage, and Sentry for error monitoring.
  • Telegram: If your league enables Telegram integration, event scores and chat messages may be forwarded to a Telegram group.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted on Microsoft Azure. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption. Biometric credentials (Face ID tokens) are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device, not on our servers.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below.

Your Rights

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
  • Withdraw consent for location tracking or push notifications at any time via device settings.
  • Request a copy of your data.

Children's Privacy

The app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
